AutumnGrove Cottage is proud to bring seniors and volunteers together.

By volunteering at AutumnGrove Cottage, you can:

• increase social awareness
• learn through service
• enjoy better health
• gain self-confidence
• discover your strengths and talents
• expand your social circle

Previous experience in working with people who have dementia is not required. Currently our primary need is Monday through Sunday between the
hours of 1:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. We are looking for individuals who are interested in interacting one-on-one with the residents in the following activities:

Volunteer Opportunities:

• Companionship
• Hand massage
• Exercise
• Dancing  
• Letter Writing
• Reminiscence Activities
• Planting flowers
• Arts & Crafts
• Games
• Book/Newspaper reading
• Writing letters and emails for residents

If you lack the time to make a weekly commitment, we're still interested in you. 
Volunteering can be scheduled once a month or even seasonally. Also, if you have a special talent or interest that you would like to share with our residents, we would
love to hear about it.
